Featured For DancersIn preparation for a performance of Twyla Tharp's "Eight Jelly Rolls" featuring live music, American Repertory ballet offers a free "On Pointe" series of monthly talks leading up to the event. The series starts on Friday, January 28, when dancer Katie Glasner explains the process of restaging the show for ARB. The series continues on February 25 with Douglas Martin on creating his new piece followed by "Dancing Your Way Into College" featuring college admission and financial aid officers on March 25. The final two installments are on April 29 when English professor Michael Robertson dives into "Our Town" and on May 13 with Jelly Roll Morton and the music of "Eight Jelly Rolls." The series is free and takes place at ARB's Princeton studio.
