Featured For FeastersFor the twelfth year, Blue Point Grill and Nassau Broadcasting present you with an eating contest to rival any Coney Island hot dog eating competition. And it's for a good cause. Oyster Bowl 2011 takes place on Super Bowl Sunday, February 6, with registration starting at 11 a.m. and the first heats of competition at noon. The winners are announced at 2 p.m. The cost to enter is $45 for an individual participant or $180 for a team of four. Spectators are welcome to watch the competition or enjoy lunch at the restaurant. All proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Throughout the event there are raffle prizes, and the grand prize for the oyster-eating contest is a trip for two to the Caribbean.
