One man's life-long love of agriculture has led to a day full of fun for anyone who visits Bordentown. The 14th annual Iris Festival and Garden Show comes to town on Saturday, May 14. The morning features an iris competition. Drop off flowers for judging at the Friends Meeting House at 302 Farnsworth Avenue starting at 9 a.m. Call Jackie at 609-928-8066 for details. Following judging, entrance to the flower show is free starting at 1 p.m. From 2 to 6 p.m., attend the Bordentown Historical Society's History in Bloom Garden Tour for just $10. Purchase tickets at Shoppe 202, the Artful Deposit Gallery, or by calling Patti at 6o9-298-9181. And throughout the day enjoy city alfresco dining and a merchant sidewalk sale on the streets of Bordentown.
