How do you teach your kids to appreciate the environment while also letting them have a good deal of fun? Simple: Take them to the 11th annual Butterfly Festival & Green Fair hosted by the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association. This family-friend event, scheduled for Saturday, August 13, invites everyone to visit the watershed and take part in environmental activities. The event costs just $5 per person or $15 per carload, but you can get in for free if you become a member of the Watershed Association that day.
