Featured EventMark your calendars for 5 p.m. Friday: that is when the Halloween extravaganza of the year is set to begin. Gather your kids with their costumes in the Palmer Square green, where the Princeton University Marching Band will lead the parade to Princeton Public Library. At the library, kids can go through the not-so-scary haunted house (the scary version is open Saturday, October 29, at 6 p.m.). The procession continues to the YMCA, with a stop at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts for treats from staffers. At the Y there will be trick-or-treating in the parking lot, a spooky trail, games, and a bounce house. The movie "Monster House" will be screened at 7:30 p.m. The best part: it's all free!
