Don't think you can afford a night at the theater? Think again. There's not one, but two ways to enjoy the top-notch performances a McCarter Theater even if a full-priced ticket doesn't quite fit your budget. First, each show has one designated pay-what-you-can night: Tuesday, February 7, at 7:30 p.m. for "The Convert"; Sunday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. for "Travesties"; and Tuesday, May 29, for "Are You There, McPhee?". Second is public rush. Just come to the box office on the day of the show -- after calling ahead to check on availability -- and tickets can be as little as $10 depending on seat location.
