Want your kids to learn about fitness and nutrition while also learning about gardening and the environment? Want them to have fun at the same time? Look no further than family fun day at Riverside School on Saturday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free, with a $5 suggested donation to support school garden programs. There will be garden tours and exhibits on sustainability and the environment presented by local experts, as well as tons of activities for the kids. Kids can try out the games and obstacles courses, get their faces painted, do a craft or plant a seed, then relax with yoga for the whole family.
