A sale that only happens once a year has to be pretty special, right? Once a year, Princeton University Concerts offers a show with very low prices, and that show is coming up on Tuesday, February 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Richardson Auditorium. In preparation, they ask you to: imagine -- hearing two dozen of the best young string players in the country play music they love, and that, as a bonus, they ask you to play with them! That's what ECCO is, and what they'll do in Princeton. The East Coast Chamber Orchestra comprises members of the world-renowned orchestras of Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, as well as leading young chamber musicians. What this democratic ensemble does not have is conductor even if you're not concertizing yourself, the experience is guaranteed to reverberate for a very long time. The best part: tickets are just $10, or $5 for students.
